Video Description: This is a video of appreciation to the Bonner Foundation and the Bonner Leaders at Tougaloo College. This has been an exciting year full of hard work, fun, triumphs, and success. The Bonner Leaders at Tougaloo College pulled together as a family and as a result deserve recognition for the creative and effective ways in which they chose to serve this year. Bonner Leaders have committed themselves to rigorous community service serving with organizations like The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Operation Shoestring, The Jackson Zoological Park, the Youth United Way, and 21st Century Learners to name a few. The culmination of this year was a joint 1st Year Exchange with Jackson State University which manifested itself in the form of a Two-City Alternative Break in Atlanta, GA and New Orleans, LA. Video Description: At Bonner Congress, we interviewed many Bonners about what Bonner/ Bonner Love means to them, and compiled some of their reflections.
How You'll Use This Video: We used this video to foster a sense of Bonner Love in our own Bonner program by putting Bonner in a national context. We wanted to give our Bonners a taste of what we got from national Bonner conferences, and show them that Bonner Love is a powerful thing (not just something one of us made up, like a lot of them thought!)
