In order to participate, institutions must meet the following criteria:
- Have or are committed to building a four-year Bonner Program or developmental multi-year robust curricular/co-curricular service program;
- Commit to assembling a team of administrators (at least two), community partners (at least two representatives), faculty (at least two, including one or more senior faculty members), and students (at least two);
- Provide Presidential support, including a formal letter specifying that the costs of attending the High-Impact Institutes for three successive years will be covered by the institution. Available Bonner funds may be used for these purposes; and
- Agree to participate in the Summer Institutes and other meetings associated with to the project.
