Below are some of the readings we believe are foundational for the High-Impact Initiative.
Teams in the first two cohorts may already be familiar with these.
Teams in the third cohort, joining in 2014 Institute, may want to circulate these before attending.
While there are ten selections, each of them is between 4 and 20 pages. We have tried to incorporate readings that address key aspects of the project and various perspectives of faculty, student, staff, and partners.
There is no expectation that all team members read everything, although you are welcome to do so. Team leaders have read about half of the selections for the March 2012 Planning Retreat. We would recommend that your team members split them up. There will be time for sharing information (summaries) during team planning time, meals, or workshops.
