Ariane is the Vice President for Program and Resource Development at the Bonner Foundation. Ariane leads the Bonner High-Impact Initiative, which is working to catalyze and support a three-year developmental strategy for campus teams involving faculty, administrators, students, and community partners at higher education institutions to develop high-impact educational practices that are integrated with high-impact community engagement.  Previously, Ari has served as the Executive Director of Campus Outreach Opportunity League (COOL), focused on mobilizing the college student service movement;  Jumpstart’s Vice President for Program, building an integrated outcome-based program model to grow a national campus program engaging students in educating low-income preschoolers; and director for the undergraduate fellowship at Echoing Green Foundation, supporting social entrepreneurs. As a young alum, Ari spent five years at City Year, a national program for diverse 17 to 25 year-olds.  She gained experience as Program Director and Senior Trainer for the National Academy, which worked on replicating City Year to new cities and to provide staff and corps members with training and professional development.  Ariane's commitment to community engagement began through intensive involvement in public schools, policy research, and equity issues at Stanford and in East Palo Alto.  She has served on Advisory Boards for AAC&U's Diversity and Democracy, AAC&U's VALUE (Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education) Initiative, and the Center for Engaged Democracy.  She is the co-editor of Deepening Community Engagement in Higher Education: Forging New Pathways.
