Trips:
- Our First Year Service Trip takes place during Spring Break. Where the Bonner students set out for a week long adventure to serve a different community in need. In the past, trips have been to Boston, Baltimore and the Philadelphia area.
- We also take Bonner students to the many confrences held throughout the year like IMPACT, Inspire and SLI.
Structure:
- We have weekly meetings held on Wednesdays at 5:15pm where we rotate different themes such as AllCorps, site-based team, and class year meetings.
- For students that are unable to make our weekly meetings at the set time, we have a Social Justice Book club where the Bonner's meet up bi-weekly to discuss books that center on social justice issues.
Unique Attribute:
- We have a learning community for first year Bonner's called the Community Service Learning Community (CSLC). They live together and also take a course called Freshman Seminar which is focused on Social Justice issues. The learning community creates a unique bond for the first year Bonner's and brings them closer as a class.
