Its only the second year for the Bonner Program at CofC; we may be newbies but we have big plans!
I have worked at the Center for Civic Engagement for three years and took part in developing CofC's Bonner Program last year. I am also involved with Relay for Life and Best Buddies-- two other service oriented clubs on campus. As of this year I am in the Schottland Scholars Program, which is a program through the Business department at CofC.
I am the only girl in my family and the middle child between two brothers. I was a Tar Heel born and bred and both of my brothers went to UNC-Chapel Hill, but somehow I ended up in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina! Growing up I was very into sports and played soccer most of my life, but I don't quite have the athleticism of a college athlete so I left that behind. Now I enjoy volunteering, biking, traveling, and just hanging out with friends. I am a Spanish and Business major-- hoping to eventually work for a non profit working with immigration.

After having one year of experience testing things out, I am excited to make the Bonner Program more well known on campus and start creating strong connections with community partners. With growing support on campus we are beginning to see that we can really make an impact!
