Bio

I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and I live in Lafayette right now, though I've moved around a lot.  I'm currently working at Theater Arts for Kids, a musical theater day camp, where I've worked for the past six summers.  I love it because it combines my two favorite things, working with kids and music!  I'm getting ready to apply to some music education masters programs, with the ultimate goal of getting a doctorate in music therapy.  Though I might just take a few years off an see where I can get as a musician!  I'm pretty excited about the possibilities, but then again, I'm pretty much excited about life in general!  I love to read, go to the movies, travel, learn languages, have rousing conversations about social justice and laugh!

Favorite Social Media Tool

  • Facebook - It was my first social media tool and I'm still addicted!
  • Google calendars - They make organizing so much easier!

What are you most excited about for the role in the upcoming academic year?

  • Working with our new Bonners, helping them feel integrated with the community and comfortable at Oberlin
  • Continuing the expansion of our campus-wide service wiki
