Organization Description: Urban Scholar Program's goal is to identify academically talented urban high school students and to provide them with the academic skills and motivation necessary for achievement  at the limits of their potentials.  The Summer Institute focuses on the development of new skills and the enhancement of present skill repertoires.  Each student will be required to take classes in a variety of subjects.

Internship Position


Internship Description: Internships available Mid-June to Mid-August.  Each year has a theme teachers must incorporate into their curriculum.  Need teachers for:  reading and writing; critical thinking; math problem solving; science; computer science; foreign language. Must have: Minimum of a B.A. in relevant field and teaching experience. Preference is given to those who have experience with a multiracial population.
