Organization Description:
Purpose: To provide life changing opportunities that encourage and support native peoples to know the love of God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The organization engages in or plans to engage in obtaining outside resources to help bring Native Peoples to come and know the Love of Jesus Christ. We will teach the people associated with these outside resources about the Native People’s history, customs and values so that they can better support the efforts of native churches, programs, families and organizations. These outside resources include churches, volunteers, and missions teams to support native churches, native programs and families/foster families and native organizations.

Internship Position
Internship Description:
This would be a 3-4 month internship on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. The intern would be learning about the Cheyenne people and developing relationships. The student would be working alongside programs that are already in places such as the Northern Cheyenne Food Bank, the Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, local churches, and also helping lead volunteer groups as they come out to work.

Additional Comments: We are also looking for full time volunteers as well. We currently have one full time volunteer that is here on support but there is much to be done and we could use extra help.
Service Opportunity - Alternative Break Site
Service Opportunity Description: We offer short alternative break trips to students seeking to use their breaks to make a difference. We can house up to 12 students for a trip in the volunteer house. They would get the opportunity to learn about another culture and serve the people of this community.

End Date: April 18, 2009
Additional Comments: The trip does not have to be as long as the dates given but those are the times we are available to house groups or individuals for alternative break service projects.
