Organization Description: Since 1968, the Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA) has been helping transform our community, one person at a time. We are changing our community by helping change lives – from emptiness to fullness, from despair to hope, from darkness to light. We serve more than 60,000 people annually with programs that sustain the independence of the frail elderly, stabilize and transform families in crisis, and equip urban teens for success.

Internship Position

Internship Description: Participants spend 24-30 hours per week working as an intern for one of MIFA's programs. Once accepted into the program, students will interview for one of the following internship positions or a combination: historian, public relations assistant, development assistant, and volunteers assistant.
