Organization Description: Camp Dudley, which was founded by Summer F. Dudley in 1885, is a nonprofit institution.  It is affiliated with the YMCA of the United States, but it is operated as an independent corporation by a Board of Managers elected from the Camp constituency.  The Board of Managers sets the policy of the Camp, is responsible for its finances and physical plant, and appoints the Camp Director.

Camp Dudley is operated for healthy boys who will enjoy and profit from a camping experience.  Camp Dudley's heritage is a Christian, and devotions are observed at mealtimes, evening vespers and at Sunday Chapel services.  The Christian ethic plays an important role in the activities and the life of Camp.  People of many persuasions, however, have had a significant part in the Camp's development, and any boy regardless of his color, creed or ethnic background who will participate in its program is welcome at Dudley.

The Board of Managers is also committed to the principles that Dudley should be a National camp which should be affordable to families from all economic levels of American society.

Camp Dudley’s in its 117th season!  Camp Dudley is the oldest boys camp in the country for ages 10.5- 14.5.  Excellent leadership development program for males ages 15 through college.  (There are also a few female staff positions.)  Full camp experience of arts, sports, outdoor education, drama, water sports.
