Internship Position
Internship Description: C5 Georgia is looking for dedicated, high-caliber leaders to teach and inspire young people to reach for their best. We operate leadership programs in 4 areas and have camp locations that serve each program:
* Texas – camp located in Killeen, Texas
* New England – camp located in Ashby, Massachusetts
* Atlanta – camp located in Cloudland, Georgia
* Los Angeles – camp located in Hyattville, Wyoming
C5 is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Each C5 program hires staff independently. You must send an application to each program where you are interested in working.
Minimum Requirements
* All applicants must be at least one year beyond high school graduation and turn 19 prior to or during the summer of employment. Age and experience requirements are different for supervisory or trip leader positions. See job descriptions for explanations.
* C5 is a drug-free, alcohol-free, and non-smoking work environment. A criminal background investigation, reference checks, and a pre-employment drug screening are required for all prospective employees.
* A motor vehicle record check is required for those required to drive as part of their job responsibilities.
POSITIONS
Since each program location offers something a little different, each staff team is organized a little differently, too. Basically, each site hires Counselors to live and work with groups of youth, Specialists to teach skills and lead activities, and Team Leaders to supervise staff who are charged with monitoring youth or delivering program. In reality, every staff member is called upon to play a variety of roles in camp.
