The Town of Black Mountain Community Garden

The Town of Black Mountain is located in the Appalachian Mountain range in North Carolina just South of Asheville. The University of Louisville, led by the Bonner Leaders Program, spent a week in Black Mountain doing service. Not only did we help out in the Black Mountain Community Garden, we also participated in one of the local food banks preparing food and then serving it to the community.
