Fundraising
We don't have a module on Fundraising, but we'd encourage you to look in your area for non-profit organizations that offer fundraising workshops. Some strategies often used by students are: sales of goods and services (e.g., bake sales, car washes), individual giving campaigns / donation drive, business sponsorship, and grant writing. Some recommended organizations to check (to begin to identify local funders or processes) are:
The Foundation Center
The Center for Non-Profit Management
Grant Writing
While not a Bonner module, we'd recommend this online curriculum available through the Foundation Center. The Foundation Center, a resource for non-profits, also has many affiliate sites and may offer in-person training workshops in your area. You can also try a google search for free or low cost workshops in your area. Many community colleges, adult education centers, and other non-profits offer them.
