Short Wiki Reflection Tutorial

Page history last edited by Andrew 15 years, 10 months ago

This is a short tutorial for adding personal reflections used in your own Bonner programs to the Bonner Network Wiki page. By adding more reflections, we will provide valuable resources to other Bonner Programs as they implement effective reflection time into their own schedules. You may want to either copy and paste this tutorial into a word document or open it in a separate web browser so that you can refer back to it as you add your reflections.

Step 1: Click the Edit Tab on the "Sample Critical Reflections" Wiki page.

Step 2: To add a link for a new Wiki page simply type the title of your reflection among the list of links, highlight the text, and click "Insert a link to a new page" to the right. The Link Type will be "PBWiki page", the Page will be "New Page", and the Page Name will be the title of your reflection.

Step 3: Next, add a short description of your reflection like the others already on the "Sample Critical Reflections" page.

Step 4: Click "Save" at the bottom left of your screen.

Step 5: You will now be viewing the "Sample Critical Reflections" page. Your reflection title and description are now part of the Wiki. Click on your link (the title of your reflection). This will generate a pop-up asking you for a template. Under BonnerNetwork Templates fill in the bubble next to "Reflection Template" and click "Create New Page" at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: You have now created a new Wiki page with the title of your reflection. Use the Template to either type or copy and paste your reflection onto the page. When finished, click save.

Step 7: Check the page to make sure everything looks like you want it. Simply click the "Edit" tab to make changes. Make sure you save each time you edit the page.
