Things to know:

 

  • Seek students who show good citizenship, commitment to community service, and academic achievement, but also demonstrate high financial need.
  • Work to achieve gender balance and racial diversity in each new class of Bonners

 

Best Practices:

 

  • Work closely with Admissions staff
  • Have Bonners recruit their high schools over break
  • Host a preview day on campus
  • Have fellow Bonners develop the recruitment materials
  • Encourage high school seniors at one of your service sites to apply
