 Workshops

We will have two elective workshop blocks at the meeting.  Each 1.5 hour block will feature 5-6 workshop selections.  Key themes we are looking to address include:

• strategies for working with community partners on service, policy research, and issue-based organizing
• strategies for training and educating students on issues and skills
• strategies for managing, empowering, and holding students accountable
• strategies for engaging faculty with our Bonner Programs and centers more systematically
• strategies for building support campus-wide for the Bonner Program and civic engagement
• Bonner Program start-up strategies, program management, and troubleshooting 
• tools and ideas for rejuvenating and grounding ourselves as staff

You will be asked to submit a workshop title, description, and your AV/equipment needs.  Please note that at Montreat, internet access will not be available in classrooms, and LCD projectors are limited.
