Getting There by Air

The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport, about 30 minutes away.  Campus teams should get a rental car or arrange their own shuttles.  You can also contact Carolina Taxi for a pre-arranged taxi (less expensive if you call first) at (828) 693-3221. Kanuga notes the following:

Asheville Regional Airport, located thirty minutes from Kanuga, offers jet and commuter service on US Airways, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines and Northwest Airlines, with daily nonstop service to Charlotte, Atlanta, Cincinnati, New York and other major hubs. Taxi services and major rental car companies are available at the airport terminal.

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, located one hour from Kanuga, offers jet and commuter service on US Airways, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines and American Airlines. Taxi services and major rental car companies are available at the airport terminal.

We are unable to provide transportation from the airport to Kanuga Conference Center. We encourage you to get a rental car or arrange a shuttle. However, if you of need of transportation, we may be able to connect you with another Director or Coordinator with similar arrival times to carpool.

Comfortably rustic, all of the cottages are fully winterized with two twin beds in each bedroom.
