Last year one of the community service projects for this program was to paint a local house.
Each year, Juniata students participate in Make a Difference Day, a national day of service. Make a Difference Day brings students, faculty, staff and community members together to complete service projects benefiting various organizations across Huntingdon County. Two sites that were included in 2008 were Huntingdon House and Mt. Union community.
Bonner Leaders also engage in ongoing service work in community and economic development. In 2008-2009, students were volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, Career Link, and the Huntingdon Community Center.
