Big Ideas (What We Will Do?)


Thinking about the five focus areas: (1) Recruiting volunteers, (2) Planning events, (3) Institutionalizing a program, (4) Deepening relationships with partners, and (5) Facilitating reflection, Our TWO PRIORITIES are going to be:

 

Since we are in the beginning stages of the program, (1) institutionalizing the Bonner Program on our campuses and (2) planning events that get the word out to our students about Bonner are our two priorities.

 

 

 

Our Social Media Strategies (How We Will Do It): 


 

Describe which of these tools you're going to use and how: 

 

Facebook

We plan to set up a campus Bonner facebook page, join the national Bonner facebook and use our own profile to publicize events on campus.

 

Wikis

We will create a campus wiki.

 

Blogs

Each student will post several reflections throughout the semester about their experiences in the community.

 

Videos

We will make a video highlighting our service for public viewing.

 

Social Actions

We have a lot of resources and programs already in place on our campuses.  We will make efforts to get different groups and departments on campus to improve communication, talking to each other about what each is doing.

 

 

 

Building Networks and Being National Representatives:


 

 

 We will share our video(s) that we make on the Bonner Network Wiki.

 

 We will create and maintain many lines of communication with other Bonner schools as we start up our program.
