Woodlands Foundation is devoted to enriching the lives of children and adults with disability and chronic illness. We accomplish our mission by developing relationships with agencies and organizations that serve individuals with disability to hold their programs at our beautiful 32-acre residential program facility. In addition we sponsor some of our own specialty camps and programs.

Internship Position
Internship Description:
Several opportunities exists from being a summer or school year weekend retreat counselor, life guard,activity instructor, healthcare associate(nursing students) etc. These positions typically receive a stipend as well as room and board during the program dates. We also recruit summer maintenance and kitchen staff.
Internship Start/End Dates:
Staff training typically falls the last week of May and 1st week of June. Summer programs then go for 10-12 weeks. Typically a different camp each week. Excellent opportunity for education, special education and allied health majors RT, PT, OT etc. to work with a variety of children with diverse disabilities.
