The camp gives the children the opportunity to spend a day outside the City, learn about new animals and New Jersey’s environment. Children also learn about personal strength and teamwork as they conquer a variety of challenge courses on the site. Children who attend camp also receive a free medical examination. College students are actively recruited to serve as counselors at camp in Blairstown, becoming role models and “big brothers and sisters” to the youngsters..
