Organization Description: Between May and August, Jameson is primarily a residential summer camp serving disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Central Indiana.  Each year Jameson serves over 400 children between the ages of 6 and 17 through summer and year round programs on the camp property.  Participants in the summer camping program are referred by a network of community professionals due to minor social and/or emotional challenges.  Jameson also provides residential camping to children affected by HIV/AIDS.

Internship Position


Internship Description: Bonner Scholars could fill a variety of summer staff positions, including group counselor/activity leader, lifeguards, archery/ropes instructors, or youth leadership staff.  Many past staff refer to their summer experience at Jameson as being both one of the most challenging and rewarding summers of their lives.  Many past staff return additional summers to move on to leadership staff positions.
