Organization Description: Campaign Corps is a unique grassroots program dedicated to empowering young people. Each year, we train talented recent college graduates at an intense week-long Campaign School and place them on targeted, progressive Democratic campaigns for the last three months before the election. On the campaign trail, Campaign Corps participants receive a stipend, free housing -- and paid travel expenses to and from the campaign. After Election Day, Campaign Corps helps participants find another job, in progressive politics or elsewhere. Campaign Corps, formerly known as Participation 2000, has been bringing young people into the political process since 1988. We've placed hundreds of staffers on some of the most important political campaigns in the country -- providing young people with the first step into a career dedicated to progressive politics.
