Internship Position

Internship Description: A lot of kids with promise and potential are missing something. It may be the parents who can provide them with a loving and supportive family. It may be the schools that will help them realize their potential. Or it may be the safe and stable home atmosphere that allows them to study, grow, and play in peace. Whatever it is they are missing, we are looking for someone who can provide it. We provide HOPE: Homes, Opportunities, Parenting, and Education to kids of promise who do not have one of more of the elements so necessary for success. As a Scholar Support Corps Member with Boys Hope Girls Hope, living in the house and working with these children of potential, you will play a crucial role in helping them realize that potential. You will provide the missing element that will make the difference between the tragedy of a wasted life, and the triumph of a fulfilled one.  Scholar Support Corps members live and work with the youth they serve. The focus of the Corps is on educational support (academic success, college planning/preparation, community service) and as an extra support system for the running of the home.

Internship Start/End Dates: 1 year (some summer opportunities available as well)
