Organization Description: Appalachian Outreach is a poverty relief ministry in partnership with the community. We provide a spectrum of care including home repair, shelter, food, clothing, educational programs, and Christian counseling. We are in need of volunteers to help with these program.

Internship Position
Internship Description:
We are a host site for Bonner Scholars, psy. interns, human services interns, and Spanish interns.
We hire 12 to 15 college students per summer to lead Back Yard Bible Clubs, work in our Ministry Center (clothing & food), lead home repair teams, and work at the Samaritan House Homeless Shelter. We provide room, board, and a $150.00 per week stipend.

Internship Length: 10 weeks
