CSB/SJU
Commentary: CSB/SJU does a great job of highlighting their community partner. Any time you can share a community partner in their own words it can be particularly powerful just like the interviews here. In addition, slideshow images accompanied by music also help create a picture of the issue addressed by the community partner. Notice how the CSB/SJU Bonners use statistics and chose black & white to help add to the seriousness of the issue.
Concord University
Commentary: The Concord Bonners do an excellent job of using video to show the work their community partner is doing. The video shows both why the organization exists and what it does for the community. Another great feature is that the video shows how the Bonners became involved and provides personal testimonies. Important facts are helpful, but personal testimonies make the video real for the audience. Concord also had a great idea in providing contact information for the partner for viewers who want to become involved in the work being done.

Title of Video: Bonners at Boys and Girls Club
Purpose Statement: The purpose of this video is to showcase the Jefferson City, TN Boys and Girls Club focusing on the Bonner Scholars who work there. This video is used to inform audiences on the wonders (and challenges) that volunteers will face while working at the Boys and Girls Club. Through the information presented in this video, it is hoped that the community will get more involved in working at Boys and Girls Clubs in their respective areas.
Intended Audience: The Bonner Community on both a local and national scale, The immediate community around Carson Newman College, Parents curious about Boys and Girls club and those who work with the children.
Promotion Plan: Through a combinations of online media including Community Connections Wiki, YouTube-cnbonner channel, and the cnbonners wiki, eventually the Carson Newman College webpage as we begin to draw a focus on service around the college for those who need and/or want to obtain service hours for whatever reason they may have.

Purpose Statement: The purpose of this video is to inform people about the SCEEP Program and its impact on the children that it benefits. By doing so, we hope to recruit more volunteers for this program.
Intended Audience: The Bonner Network and our community partner.
Promotion Plan: Using social media tools such as facebook and the ning will help in promoting this video. It will also be given to our community partner for their use.

Purpose Statement: The purpose of this video is to inform individuals of what the Journey Program is and what it does for its participants. This video is aimed at helping get more carson newman students involved in facilitating the program as well as informing the future truant students of what the journey program is as an alternative to community service and a fine. This program is brand new and will grow through effective use of this video in coming years.
Intended Audience: Carson Newman Community, Current Bonners, Jefferson County High School Youth, Those who are truant and moving through the juvenile court system.
Promotion Plan: Submitting a longer cut of this film to the Jefferson County Juvenile Court for use in Advertising the program. Through the efficient use of our Wiki and our cnbonner YoutTube Channel. These attempts in advertising will hopefully get the community more involved in this new and growing program.
