Organization Description: “The Center for Purposeful Living” is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the expression of the goodness in each of us through voluntary service and positive relations with others. Its “Transformation through Service Education Program” helps people expand their capacity to serve while clarifying their sense of meaning and purpose in life by building common sense, clear thinking, interpersonal and leadership skills, freedom from barriers, and practical life skills in communication and financial and time management.

Internship Position

Internship Description: Bonner Scholars can apply for a summer service learning internship of 6 to 8 weeks duration, depending on their availability. Tuition, room and board are free of charge. Interns take one course in becoming the Totally Responsible Person (TRP), which teaches them how to stay positive and productive no matter what the circumstances, and volunteer 45 hours a week in the Center's service learning laboratory, California Fresh Buffet restaurant, and in other areas on campus.
