What is AmeriCorps?

Wondering what exactly AmeriCorps is and what it entails? If you have the option to participate (and most of you do, just talk to your Campus Program Administrator), it may be a great way to join a national network and supplement your financial aid for school.

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs that engages more than 50,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet domestic needs in education, public safety, health, disaster relief and the environment. The AmeriCorps component of the Bonner program is a wonderful way for campuses to further support students participating in the Bonner Scholar and Bonner Leader programs.

Being an AmeriCorps Member is a great way to serve and become involved in your community!

See the links below to familiarize yourself with the in's and out's of what it takes to be an AmeriCorps Member and what will be expected of you during your term of service.
